About Monica

I'd describe my personality as positive, cheerful, and calm. I have worked in adult and senior psychiatric care through the state of Kansas, and through those years of experience, l have learned patience and resiliency. It has allowed me to view life through different lenses and understand the complexities of the mind. I love being able to provide care, compassion, companionship, and assistance. I am a mother of a wonderful toddler. I belive in gentle parenting, though I understand that style doesn't work for everyone. I am happy to share my space if you need to drop off, but also willing to come to you. I have experience with ADLs such as feeding, bathing, dressing, and ambulatory assistance. I also enjoy cooking and don't mind a little housework. Arts and crafts are always fun, and of course, we always have to make time for some reading and all types of learning. I truly believe I must have been a kindergarten teacher in a previous life.
