I became licensed through the state as an IHSS provider and have been caring for seniors and the disabled ever since! In my spare time, I like to hike. I love macrame and embroidery. Gardening has always been a favorite pastime and I love all animals, especially dogs and horses. One thing you should know about me is that I take my work seriously and do not take short cuts. I care for others as if they were my own, with dignity and consideration. My specialty skills include quadriplegic and paraplegic care, including Hoyer operations and manual bowel stimulation. 5+ years experience with dementia care.

Monica is more than you could ever ask for. She cared for my husband with Dimentia, playing puzzles, excellent transfers, and a great companion when she wasn't cleaning.. She managed bathing and dressing, medicines, and proceeded on all tasks with a lovely sensitivity to our feelings.. She was great with my 11 month old crazy Puppy. She also took care of me as I have some mobility issues myself. We did errands together and also some fun stuff which was great as I needed some time out of the house. I would highly recommend her for clients who need a bit more help than the basics.
