About Monica

I have spent the majority of my life around children. I started my journey when I was a young teen getting the classic babysitter certificate. This moved on to 4H camp counselor, eventually leading me into child education on development and psychology. As my professional career advanced I spent 5 plus years working as a behavioral therapist- one on one with children who had dual diagnosis- non verbal disabilities . I have worked in school settings as well as in home residential. I have also worked with all ages and am comfortable working with children who have disabilities. As a mom myself, my daughter is 19 and my son is 16, I can also say with confidence that the nurture comes naturally.
