About Monet

Hi!! I'm Monet and I feel I am an empathetic, enthusiastic and very grounded person. My childcare began when I was 9 years old, as my mother was a surgical resident and I had to assume a caretaking role over my little siblings to help her out. I love working with kids because I am the eldest of 7 siblings and embracing this role has made me a stronger, better person. As for my formal experience, I have been a camp counselor, and I have interned at Kennedy Krieger, working in pediatric neurodevelopmental care. For the past year, I have become a behavioral therapist for kids with autism! My skills include positivity, focus, and patience. I want the best for all kids, and I know just how impressionable they are. I believe in treating your little ones and pets alike as my own family, and always having their best interest at heart since I would want others to do that for my loved ones.
