I'd describe my personality as patient, friendly and caring I like caring for seniors because they have so many great stories to tell and I love hearing about their life experiences. I'm looking for a job that rewarding and I enjoy meeting new people. I worked retail management most of my life, but I also worked in a nursing home before and enjoyed it immensely. The last few years I have cared for a woman in memory care, but she passed away in November after celebrating her 98th birthday. I started caring for seniors when I was a newlywed in 1980 and worked at a nursing home for a couple of years. Since January 2021 I cared for a woman in assisted living and later in memory care, but she passed away in November. In my spare time, I like to read, go for walks with my dog, socialize with friends. One thing you should know about me is I am patient and love to learn about people and their interests and lives. My skills include listening, helping and understanding
