About Monae

I gained most of my 10+ years of childcare experience working exclusively as a Nanny, Babysitter, Tutor, Reading Specialist, Museum Educator, SPED Teacher, RBT, and STEM Activity Specialist. These opportunities bestowed much of the knowledge I have today. I have a B. S. and a Certificate in Crisis Prevention and Intervention. Finally, I completed two teaching fellowships, including one with Teachers College at Columbia University and an Early Childhood Education and Early Childhood Education/Teaching Students with Disabilities (Dual Certification) As a childcare professional, I love working with 2E children and children with other special needs (ASD) and/or learning disabilities. I have extensive experience with infants and stellar references. I am committed to seeking opportunities to invest in my professional and educational development. I value strong, honest, and respectful communication.
