I work as a PCA every other weekend last 2 years for boys younger than 6. The one boy I mostly work with is non verbal, in a wheelchair, feeding tubes, and needs help with all his needs. I work people with disabilities for my full time job and sometimes have to assist with bathroom, feeding, zippers, and tying shoes. I also talk to them and figure out their likes and build relationships with them.

Molly was a great worker for about 2 months!!! I really enjoyed her. She worked M-F 5am-8:30am. One day she texted me she was feeling ill so she wasn't coming in. About a week later she said she had the flu. A week after that she said she had COVID. I haven't heard from her since. I've called and left voicemail and plenty of texts. I honestly thought she died from COVID but then I came back on Care.com and it shows she's been recently active. So I thought maybe she has a different t phone number now so I messaged her on Care.com I still have yet to hear from her. Its been 3 months since I heard from her. I waited as long as possible because I didn't want to put a bad review if she was ill and in the hospital. I mean they're are a lot of things that could have happened. But if she really did ghost me that's definitely abandonment. I wasn't even trying to replace her because I thought she'd come back after she got better. I pray that she is okay! I'd hate for her to still be sick!
