I like working with kids because not only do I get to be a role model and an influence in their lives and development, but they have an impact on us as well. I'm looking for a job that will allow me to build my skill set as I plan to be a future teacher. I started working with kids when I was quite young. My mom worked at KOHA (Kalamazoo Optimist Hockey Association) so I helped her by being on the ice with kids at Learn to Skate and Try Hockey For Free. I also have been in a classroom for 3 semesters working with children. In my spare time, I like to go to the gym or get on the ice to practice and better myself. I also really enjoy being with my family and friends doing something outdoors. One thing you should know about me is I like to make connections with kids to give them a sense of belonging. I enjoy children and love getting to know their unique personalities.
