I love working with students and helping them gain more confidence at school. 2 years of experience as a Teaching Artist in Los Angeles, California, where I taught classes about zine making, character creation, and filmmaking to 4th and 5th grade students. 3 years of experience as a Writing Advisor and Writing Fellow at Occidental College Writing Center, where I advised undergraduate students on growing and gaining confidence at college-level academic, creative, and professional writing. 2 months volunteering as a Teacher's Aid for K-2nd and 6th-8th grade early music theory, beginning, and intermediate orchestra classes. 4 months of experience online teaching violin to a 7th grade student over the pandemic.
