About Moana

hi my name is Moana! just moved here from Hawaii last month. I was a 24/7 elderly caregiver for two years up until I left Hawaii. I took care of my 90-year-old uncle and lived with him at his house. My duties were cooking, cleaning, medication managing, appointments, grocery shopping, bathing, dressing, grooming, getting him in and out of bed, just basically doing everything for him that he couldn't himself. He was in a wheelchair and sometimes could barely walk. I was raised around a lot of elders 50 years and up so being around him was pretty natural. I miss him a lot and It was definitely hard saying goodbye but I taught him how to use a phone so we every few days.
