About Moana

Hey there! I'm Moana! 32, married for 11 years, and mom to 2 boys ages 9 & 13. I have a good understanding of children's developmental needs and learning styles as I carry well over a decade of experience. My journey began in high school, where I earned my 90 clock hour cert and gained hands-on experience. Since then, I've worked in civilian childcare centers partnering with the school district and military childcare centers for the Air Force and Army, including within the Army's Strong Beginnings Program. Outside of formal classroom experience, I have babysat many kiddos. I have experience working with children with diverse needs, including, but not limited to, Oppositional Defiant Disorder (ODD), Attention Deficit Hyperactive Disorder (ADHD), Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), and Avoidant/Restrictive Food Intake Disorder (ARFID). I'm also comfortable with children who may have food allergies. I'm a creative problem solver that looks forward to partnering with your family!
