Hello everyone! My name is Mjaan (May-yahn), but all of my students and families call me Ms. MJ, please feel welcomed too. I have been working in the childcare/ education field for a little over 7 years, with the bulk of my career tailored to infants and toddlers. All the babies and children I've worked with taught me the importance of learning through play, exploring through sensory and creating space for independence, I am forever grateful to them! This year I have been working to become a certified Doula and birth advocator, I take this my new found knowledge as an opportunity to provide service to not only the child and their development, but to the family as complete unit as they enter or reenter the journey of parenthood! I believe that it takes a village to protect and guide the beautiful young minds of our future, it's an honor and rewarding position to be a part of!
