About Mitzy

Hello! My name is Mitzy and I have 20 years of experience working with children ages 0-18 in the classroom, small groups, and one on one. I am currently offering tutoring in Language Arts, and have completed 3 years of teacher training at the Windward School, where I learned and applied techniques for helping students with dyslexia and other language-based learning disabilities. I have the training to tutor grades k-7 but my main job that wants to apply is being a nanny tutoring is only a options that I can offer:) I am offering private lesson instruction in Flute. I have a Master's degree from the Jacobs School of Music in flute performance and have taught music for close to 20 years, in the classroom, groups, and one on one. I am a faculty member at Brooklyn Conservatory of Music teaching flute lessons, Flute Ensemble, and directing the Brooklyn Band Academy. I offer individual lessons for students grades 2-12 as well as adults.
