Words are ltd. here... Experience. in helping children with spec. needs; inc. Autism, ADD, & writing disorders, so esp. interest in helping w/ those types of spec. needs, or similar. Eventually hope to be an ABA Therapist, or similar. I have 4 children, 2 diagnosed w/ADD, & have writing disorders. Taught 1st child to read by 14mos., & 2nd child by 9mos.,.. In 3rd grd. my oldest was accepted into A. Gifted Prg, ltr. went into reg. classes, because of atten. probs.. ... still a good test taker. I believe if I hadn't taught her to read early, she would have had more probs. in sch.. spent immense amt. of time teaching her, & her bro. to write when in K. I believe things learned working w/my own children, & research that I have done to be able to help them, will serve me well, when helping others w/similar needs.
