About Mitzi

I have been caring for children for over 25years. Experiences include occasional babysitting, extended care (while parents out of town), full-time nanny and as a parent. I enjoy working with children & enjoy cuddling, reading, playing games, doing crafts, going on outings and teaching age appropriate, educational and developmental activities. I feel my relaxed attitude helps little ones feel at ease while spending time with me. My two children are now both enjoying college and thier independence. My daughter also works at the University childcare center. She loves time with friends and my son enjoys hanging with friends and watching sports. I am currently working Mon -Thurs with a family with 2 boys I absolutely adore. I have been with them 7 years and was previously with a family for 8 years, 2 children whom I love and consider family, but unfortunately kids grow up and no longer needed care :( I am looking to fill the occasional Friday, Sat or Sun.

Mitzi has cared for the children in my family over 15 years. I first met her as the caregiver of my niece and nephew who are now in college. Now, she watches my 7 year old son. The kids love her as she always makes the experience fun through an art project, baking experience or walk to the park. She even makes reading fun! 😂She is wonderful person and even better caretaker. Love her!

I took First Aid class two times
but certification has lapsed. However it was an extensive course and a lot of the knowledge remains with me. CPR has also lapsed
but I am willing to renew my certification.
