About Mitra

I am a May 2020 graduate of UNC Chapel Hill with a degree in English with a concentration in writing, editing, and digital publishing and Journalism. I am looking for a recurring tutoring job helping your child excel in remote school as I prepare to begin a teaching certification program in the spring to become an English teacher. I am able to provide tutoring for all subject areas for elementary and middle school and most areas of high school, particularly in the humanities. Although I am happy and well equipped to tutor in all subjects, I especially enjoy helping students improve their writing skills as I have four years of professional experience as an editor for a scholarly journal and several years of professional writing and journalism experience.
