About Misty

Hi! My name is Misty. I'm the mother of two fantastic young men who are now 18 and 19. Being their mom has been my greatest joy and biggest accomplishment in my life. I'm passionate about developing young minds and believe that learning is done through laughter, conversation, exposure to different environments, situations and so importantly through reading aloud to our children. A bit about my character is that others would describe me as honest, consistent in my behaviors, integrity filled, my moral compass is important to me and I'm reliable. I'm also a happy person naturally. I love people and life. It's hard for me to not smile and rare that I can't find joy in a situation. I'm a positive person naturally who is compassionate and very easy to get along with. I strongly believe in communication and always have an open door policy.
