I have a background in elementary education and a total of approximately 13 years of experience working with children. My experience includes lead teaching and substitute teaching, operations management, running an after school program, Montessori care, full time nannying, restaurant and coffee service and teaching ESL. Over the years, I have discovered that patience is one of my strongest qualities in working with both children and adults. I am at my best when I am teaching or training and I believe that investing time in people is always worth it, (especially children)! In my management experience, I have loved working with teams and making sure each and every person I am responsible for is fully oriented and given a sense of ownership of their job. As a teacher, I am willing to go to great lengths to make sure my students understand a concept before I move on to a new one. I would love to work with a family who needs a creative nanny, assistant or household manager:)

I have known Misty for a few years, first as a friendly, smiling face at my local coffee shop, her customer service is what always stood out to me. We were able to see her interact with our kids at that said coffee shop's anniversary party one year and found out that she was also a teacher! I was thrilled to find out that Misty was open for babysitting! Misty is a kind and patient and our kids love having her to babysit. She also happens to be a phenomenal singer.
