I have a BS from BYU in FCS Ed. & completed coursework in areas such as Teaching Students w/ Disabilities, Child & Adolescent Development, & Teaching Preschool using DAP. I'm inspired by brother, who has a rare seizure disorder (Lennox Gastaut Syndrome) resulting in cognitive developmental delays. I LOVE spending time with him. I have had the privilege of teaching students w/ mild-severe learning disabilities & mental health concerns. I enjoy making personalized curriculum for diverse learners that catered to their specific strengths. I have addressed my own mental health concerns for the past 5 years in weekly therapy, and have researched a lot about ADHD. I gained a much deeper understanding of these issues & acquired a toolbox full of helpful techniques and practices. I'm not perfect, but I always do my very best & I am eager to learn and improve.
