About Misa

I am seeking a nannying position starting Spring 2025. I am 27 years old and hold a degree in Early Childhood and Childhood Education from SUNY New Paltz, along with an initial teaching certification in both areas. My experience includes working as a preschool forest teacher, where I taught children ages 2 to 5, fostering a love for learning through nature-based education. I am passionate about creating environments where children's identities and experiences are valued and supported. For the past two years, I have been a full-time nanny for two children. I have also worked as a babysitter for kids ranging from 1 to 9 years old. Beyond my local experience, I have volunteered at an orphanage in India and taught English in Rwanda, further deepening my commitment to early childhood education and cross-cultural learning. I would love the opportunity to bring my experience and passion to a new family this fall!
