About Miriam

Hi I'm Miriam! I'm currently a senior at the University of Texas at San Antonio. I am majoring in political science and philosophy, so I have strong reading, writing, analysis, and logical skills. I have been a straight A student through high school and most of college. I graduated high school a year early ranking 14/325 in my class. I am able to help your child with subjects like math, science, and English language or reading and writing. While I have never been a payed tutor before, I have volunteered for tutoring services in the past. In high school, I worked with a program offering online after-school help in math and reading to students who were falling behind. For the past three years, I have been volunteering with NISD as a reading buddy. There, I work one-on-one with second grade students to help them improve their reading and comprehension skills.
