About Miriam

Hi I'm Miriam! I love kids and have lots of experience caring for them. I worked at an overnight summer camp for 2 years. There, I stayed with girls ages 8-14. I led daily activities, helped with morning and night routines, and- most importantly- made sure everyone was safe and having fun! I was a lifeguard at the summer camp, so I have been CPR and first-aid certified although my certification needs to be renewed this year. I have been volunteering at a local elementary school for three years as a reading buddy. There, I work one-on-one with students to improve their reading comprehension skills. In the past, I have volunteered at my church during vacation Bible school. I am able to help wherever needed- whether that be with school work, driving kids around, or even light chores when needed. I am looking forward to working with you and your children, and I am sure I would be a great fit to care for your kid!
