About Miriam

I am a mom of two wonderful girls (ages 5 and 11) and a former Visual Arts educator with over a decade of experience working with children in diverse settings. My teaching experience spans various age groups, from early childhood through 12th grade, in both private and public education, as well as catechism classes and supervising extended day programs. In addition to my teaching background, I bring adaptability, patience, and problem-solving skills developed through both long-term and occasional babysitting. This experience has allowed me to build trusting relationships with families while providing personalized, genuine care tailored to each child's unique needs. After stepping away from the classroom to pursue personal and professional goals, I am seeking to continue working with children in a part-time capacity and help nurture their growth, creativity and self-confidence.
