I have tutored, and on occasion, home-schooled my own children who are all now college graduates and am currently homeschooling my 16-year-old autistic grandson. In the past 3 years I have been a nanny/tutor for several families with children of all ages and I am also a substitute teacher for Katy ISD. I understand that it is vital to find out how a particular child learns and to mold instruction accordingly, all while motivating & praising. As a student myself, I love to learn and I love to pass that on in teaching/tutoring.
