I worked as a Paraprofessional for over 15 years in a specialized center where the students were physically and intellectually disabled. In this (S/PID) setting my duties included feeding, toileting, positioning, transitioning, collecting data, and assisting the Teacher with implementing and following the student's IEP, which most times included a Behavior Modification Plan. The age range of these students was 3-14 yrs. old. I then transitioned to a Comprehensive Center where the ages ranged from 15- 23 years. Experienced in Cerebral Palsy, Down's Syndrome, Autism, Microcephaly, Hydrocephaly, Specific learning Disability, ADHD, ADD, Physically Impaired, Medical Fragile, MID/ MOID, etc...
