About Miriam

I am a mother of four and grandmother to four! I worked as a Special Education Paraprofessional in DeKalb County Schools for over 15 years which provided me experience with feeding, g- tube feeding, positioning, transitioning, toileting, bathing, diapering, lifting, therapy assistance to include physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech therapy. In this environment, my students were physically and intellectually disabled, medically fragile, visual and hearing impaired and limited cognitively. My last position was Substitute teaching in SC where I cared for my grandmother part time who was diagnosed with early dementia before her death. I am compassionate, reliable, patient and qualified!
