About Miranda

I am Miranda , a lifelong learner, dependable employee, and teacher. I am wrapping up my 4th year of teaching 9th grade English and am interested in continuing to work and mentor children throughout my summer, but in a different setting. Prior to my time in the classroom, I studied English and Education at Texas A&M. Each summer I spent my time with children of all ages. From Vacation Bible school, nannying a 2-year-old and 4-year-old M-F, then later an 8- and 11-year-old, I have always found joy in spending time with children. It gives me a purpose and is something I have a lot of confidence in. I am CPR certified through my coaching position at the high school level and have confidence in providing a safe environment for all children.
