Caring for children has always been part of my life, ever since I began teaching piano and dance lessons when I was a teen. I have had experience as a childcare provider for individual families, a preschool assistant teacher, a music teacher (grades K-8), and as a mother myself. I would describe my personality as calm, friendly, and loyal. I love to give encouragement, and it is so rewarding to see children learn and grow. Over years of experience with many ages, I have a working knowledge of the various developmental stages, as well as the skills to meet each. From soothing a baby to sleep, to participating in the preschooler's imagination, to equipping a child with the skills to read and learn, to building good habits and social skills, I will always offer encouragement and support for children to grow into their best selves.

Miranda has been my children’s piano teacher for over 10 years. She began teaching my youngest when they were 5 years old. She was very patient with them and encouraging even when they were frustrated. My children have adhd and one has autism and she was able to meet them at their level and help them learn and be successful. She worked with one of my kids for 10 years and he has a love of music and is a skilled piano player bc of her. She is an excellent teacher of all ages and abilities. I highly recommend her.
