About Miranda

In 2008, I began fostering dogs for a local Great Pyrenees rescue in Indiana. In 2010, I founded my own non-profit animal rescue which helped animals and kids through reading. 150 cats and dogs were rescued and adopted, and hundreds of children read to the volunteers' dogs to improve their literacy. Of the 150 rescued animals, approximately 30 were kittens. The non-profit dissolved in 2016, but I continued to foster for other rescues. I am experienced with cats, kittens, puppies, senior dogs, dog training, crate training, obedience training, leash training, aggressive dogs, and fearful dogs. I do not breed discriminate and am familiar with many dog breeds, I am also adept at giving medications, shots, and attending to special needs. I have my own fur babies which consists of a rescued Great Pyrenees, a rescued Rottweiler, and a rescued cat.
