About Miranda

I worked in a Nursing home for 4 yrs as a CNA and I loved it. No two residents were alike. I always made it known that although it was my job, I was just a part of their daily life. I became close with those, who were describe as the (ones to watch out for). I took the time to make sure that everything from their outfits to their hair was done the way they liked, Never rushing or pushing anything. I worked with those who suffered from dementia to amputees to individuals who could no longer speak. After moving, I had intended to work as a CNA knowing I would encounter frustrating people like at my previous job, I still loved what I did. My first interview here had upset me so much I knew I couldn't continue on being a CNA. Knowing I couldn't help and give every resident the care and attention they deserve, I couldn't just ignore those who would ask the same question everyday. I hated how much it lacked compassion and understanding.
