About Miranda

With six years in education and a strong healthcare background, I am committed to a supportive, personalized learning environment. I'm completing my Bachelor's in Nursing with a minor in Public Health at the University of Texas at Arlington and will earn my teaching certificate in Spring 2025. As a Collegiate Honors Society member, I value academic and creative excellence. In addition to tutoring, I have four years of home health experience and hold certifications in BLS, CPR, and First Aid. My training in Social and Emotional Learning (SEL) and experience with ADHD, ADD, and autism allow me to adapt my teaching to each student's needs. I am also proficient in drawing, painting, and sculpture, and love integrating creativity into learning. As a K-12 paraprofessional, I am skilled in managing groups and creating engaging sessions. I offer flexible summer availability, and as a competitive swimmer, I provide swim tutoring as well. I look forward to supporting your student's success!
