From May of 2016 until July of 2022 I worked as a respite provider for a program run by the AF. I resigned from the position because I started attending graduate school in August 2022 and there are currently no AF families enrolled in the program within the Denver area. I love working with children and so that is why I would like to continue providing care-giving services. As a respite provider, I provided hands on care for special needs children and their siblings. I have worked with a big variety of types of disabilities as well as personalities. As I worked with the typically developing siblings, I am very comfortable working with all children. I will provide hands on care centered in patience and optimism.
