About Mira

Hi, I'm Mira! I'm a fun, patient, and loving 25-year-old who adores children. I started babysitting when I was 12 and worked with lots of families until graduating from high school. In college, I discovered my love of farming, and worked on the student farm all four years, graduating with a degree in Environmental and Food Studies. I have been working as an organic vegetable farmer in Boulder and Longmont for the last several years, and babysitting a handful of kiddos on weekends and during the winters (my off season from the farm). After 7 wonderful seasons farming, I recently made the decision to go back to school to pursue a masters degree in Early Childhood Education with the hopes of becoming an elementary school teacher, and I would love to continue working with children while I take my classes. I'm a caregiver at heart, and I've always felt comfortable tending to children, plants, and animals. If you think I may be a good fit for your family, let's connect!
