I grew up around dogs and cats and helped my parents take care of all of our pets when I was younger. I also currently have my own dog which I have been taking care of for 6 years now. In the past, I volunteered for several years at a local animal shelter where I cleaned, walked, bathed, played, fed, and took care of dogs. I also helped out with feeding the rescue cats and cleaning their areas.
