About Mindra

Hi! I'm a fun loving and energetic individual who enjoys all things outdoors, creative, active, and educational. I strive to exemplify these characteristics in my childcare work, while maintaining a professional relationship and prioritizing safety. Since the age of 14, I have cared for children throughout my hometown, from toddlers to 10-year-olds. Often, I aim to direct attention away from technology and have spent many sessions making crafts, providing homework help, playing games, and reading bedtime stories. Of course, I am always happy to help with tutoring, cooking, animal care, and basic housekeeping. A bit of background about me: In 2021, I graduated from Virginia Tech with a degree in Marketing and began working at an environmental nonprofit. I then began a consulting job in the corporate world, which I held for two years, before beginning a seven-month backpacking journey through Central and South America.
