About Mimi

My goal is to use my varied experience to assist with and enhance learning for children from preschool to fourth grade. I believe that a fundamental key to teaching children is to make learning fun. Patience is also required. I have extensive teaching experience through both my employment tutoring students of all abilities and my volunteer work. I love children and helping them grow. Our large family has also given me strong problem-solving abilities, a willingness to learn, and excellent communication skills. Having owned a small business in the past taught me the importance of punctuality, discipline, hard work, cooperation, and collaboration. My hobbies include cooking, playing guitar, painting, and basketball. I would describe myself as mild, fun, but highly organized.
