I'm a mother of two adult boys and the proud grandmother to two girls ages 3 years and 10 years. I have worked as a nanny for more than 10 years in the Bay Area and have loved every minute of it. I have experience working with children ages 3 months old to 8 years old. I enjoy spending time with children in the outdoors, visiting playgrounds, museums, and spending time in libraries. I also enjoy reading and facilitating hands-on play times with art and crafts. Though some of these activities are a bit less attainable due to COVID-19, I look forward to coming up with safe, fun, and creative activities. I have a valid California driver's license and a safe and reliable car. I am CPR certified, and up to date with all necessary shots. In lieu of the Covid-19 pandemic, I have been taking all the necessary precautions to protect myself by sheltering in place, maintaining social distancing, and wearing a mask whenever outdoors. Millie is extremely attentive, reliable, conscientious and punctual. She lovingly took care of our son (now three) for two and a half years since he was four months old. She has an incredible amount of energy and loves to be outside with children. She did a wonderful job of making sure that he was well napped and fed as a baby, took him on long walks, to the park, library, playgrounds and museums. She tenderly cared for him on sick days and played with him for countless hours- letting him lead the play around his interests and helping him through his developmental leaps. She was instrumental and AMAZING in his potty training and believes in asking the parents for their approach and then making sure all caring for the child are on a united front. She always left the house as tidy as she found it and her love for my son was paramount. I never worried when my son was in her care. He was over the moon to see her every morning and sad when she left. Millie is a wonderful caretaker!
