I am a mom of three, (34, 31 and 27). I have no grandchildren yet but am anxiously looking forward to the role of "JoJo". I am a retired elementary school teacher. I taught in the Anchorage Schools, JCPS and in the Oldham County Schools. My whole life it seems, has been related to children. I live with my two pups off of Westport Rd. My own kiddos are the ones that suggested I apply for these babysitting/nannying experiences, they think I'd be great and I know that I'd enjoy it... at least until the day that I wear that "JoJo" title! I want to nurture a child's creativity, playfulness and innocence. I am 60 years old and I have 45+ years of experience with children. Being with children is exciting and unpredictable, and I love their little hugs. I may be somewhat of a "silly goose" with your children! (But I giggle responsibly). Millie has been absolutely wonderful for our family. She has taken care of our autistic 4 year old part time for over 6 months. She is fantastic with him. She is engaging and always coming up with new ways to play in a way that also helps him learn. Millie is very reliable and very trustworthy.
