About Mila

Hello, my name is Mila! I am currently entering my last year of my bachelors degree in social work, where I then plan on pursuing my masters in social work after I graduate. I am very passionate about nurturing children's growth and making a positive impact on their lives, as I intend to work for the Department of Child and Family Services (DCFS) or as a school social worker once I enter the workforce. With five years of experience in teaching positions, as well as babysitter roles, I have honed my skills in caring for children of all ages, from toddlers to preteens. My patient and creative personality helps me connect with children, while my firm but friendly approach allows me to effectively enforce household rules. I believe in open communication with parents and prioritize their preferred method of contact to discuss their child's day or any concerns. I'm comfortable caring for up to four children simultaneously and can assist with various tasks around the home!
