Quiet, intelligent humorous I like working with animals because I grew up in a family of farmers. We always had dogs, cats and other animals around the house. My children and grandchildren have had numerous pets including Guinea pigs, hamsters, gerbils and mice. I'm looking for a job that I fits with my retirement and music schedule. Schedule is very open due to being retired. I love animals and pet care would allow me to interact with more of them. I started working with animals when I was a child. My grandfathers and many uncles were farmers. As a teenager my family bred hogs. I have owned dogs and cats as long as I can remember. In my spare time, I like to read and play music. I belong to several part time music ensembles. One thing you should know about me is I am a retired engineer who has been married 40 years. I am very reliable and have plenty of free time. My skills include dog walking, playing with pets and making pets feel comfortable in unfamiliar situations.
