About Mikayla

Hi there! I'm a passionate, experienced caregiver with 8+ years working with people of all ages and experiences. I've had the privilege of growing up with younger siblings, honing my nurturing skills from a young age. My 2 years of professional childcare experience, combined with my recent internship with the Forest Service, have allowed me to further develop my abilities in creating safe, stimulating, and fun environments for children. I'm skilled in various childcare activities, including arts and crafts, outdoor play, and housekeeping. I'm also CPR and First Aid certified. With a Bachelor's degree in Social Work, I'm equipped with a strong foundation in child development and human behavior. I'm excited about the opportunity to combine my love for children with my passion for creativity, outdoor adventures, and teaching. As I settle into Tucson after graduating from Eastern New Mexico University, I'm eager to share my enthusiasm and experience with a new family!
