About Mikayla

Hi there! I'm a passionate, experienced caregiver with 8+ years working with people of all ages and experiences. I've had the privilege of growing up with younger siblings, honing my nurturing skills from a young age. My 2 years of professional childcare experience, combined with my recent internship in conservation education with the Forest Service, have allowed me to further develop my abilities in creating safe, stimulating, and fun environments for children. I also have a background in Social Work and have specialized in children advocacy. I'm skilled in various childcare activities, including arts and crafts, outdoor play, and housekeeping. Plus, I simply love playing outside! I have much experience in working the outdoor field from raft guiding to leading hikes, making outdoor safety a natural skill for me. I'm CPR and First Aid certified.
