About Mikayla

I grew up in a large blended family always helping with my siblings! I am a passionate and experienced caregiver, I find joy in helping people. I Have at least 3 years with childcare experience, I have a deep understanding of the importance of providing a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children to thrive. I am in my third year at Grand Canyon University studying Secondary Elementary Education in hopes of becoming a second grade teacher. My patient and calm nature, coupled with my creative and imaginative approach, allows me to engage children in a variety of fun activities. From outdoor sports and physical games to board games and puzzles, I strive to make learning fun. Open communication is key in my approach. I believe in updating parents about their child's day and promptly addressing any issues that may arise. I am very comfortable enforcing household rules and working with parents to ensure consistency and a positive environment.
