About Mikayla

I have spent the last several years as a part-time childcare provider while in school, because I genuinely love nurturing children and helping them learn and grow. My experience includes babysitting and caring for children of all ages, from infants to preteens. I've learned from my experience that each child is unique and deserves personalized care and attention. I have a college degree, and I'm certified in both CPR and First Aid. I'm a creative and imaginative person, so I love coming up with new and exciting activities for children. I also have a passion for exploration and encouraging children to learn about the world around them. I believe that play is an essential part of childhood, so I incorporate games and physical activities into my caregiving. I'm comfortable enforcing household rules and routines, and I always follow the parents' preferred communication method. I believe that open and honest communication is essential to building trust with families.
