Before moving back to Peoria, I was a elderly caregiver, for about a year, up in flagstaff for a company called comfort keepers (non-medical in home care provider). And although they were technically non-medical I did assist in; dressing wounds, taking medicine, therapy exercises, changing oxygen tanks, etc. It was the most rewarding job I ever had and extremely close with all my clients! I have plenty of references available.

Mikayla worked with my 93 year old mother. My mom (Betty) is not an easy person to match a caregiver with but Mikayla has the touch. Betty has sun-downers and won't shower without a fuss and got more difficult as the day goes on. I like the way Mikayla convinced Betty to walk or get into the shower without the problems other caregivers experienced. Taking her meds became a problem, but Mikayla is gentle and caring and it made her want to comply. I am the object of Betty's anger, but Mikayla could always get through to mom even when I couldn't. It was obvious that Mikayla wants the best for the people she serves. Thanks for your attention. Kelly C.
