About Mikayla

Hi! I'm Mikayla, a registered nurse with a passion for caring for children, teens, and those in need. Growing up as the oldest of three, I began babysitting at a young age, sparking my passion for caring for others. While earning my BSN from UMass Lowell in 3. 5 years, I worked as a nurse's aide, providing home care for a special needs child and a young woman with a degenerative illness for several years. My first nursing role as an RN was at Walden Street School, where I worked with adolescents facing trauma and mental health challenges. I later became the sole nurse at a large elementary school outside of Boston, caring for 600 children. After 2. 5 years, I stepped down to pursue the clinical portion of my doctorate in nursing at Boston College, where I'm working to become a psychiatric nurse practitioner by May 2026. I am eager to find part time employment that works with my clinical schedule. I enjoying cooking, dancing, skiing, you name it. I look forward to meeting you!
