About Mikayla

As a caregiver, my passion for nurturing and educating children stems from my rewarding experiences in babysitting and teaching mommy and me classes, gymnastics, and summer camps. These roles allowed me to build meaningful connections with children and parents alike, inspiring me to pursue a career where I can make a positive impact on young lives. My approach to childcare is centered around patience, creativity, and open communication. I believe in fostering a nurturing environment where children feel safe and encouraged to explore their imagination. I keep parents updated on their child's day, either through verbal communication at pickup or regular updates via their preferred method of contact. With four years of experience, I am comfortable caring for one child at a time and am happy to assist with cooking, meal preparation, and light housekeeping. My commitment to safety includes First Aid Training and CPR Training.
