About Mikayla I

Hello my name is Mikayla and I am very interested to give my care to your family I have been working in childcare for about 7 years now. I will be living in Sarasota, Florida for the next year to finish getting my Bachelor's. I was hired at New Adventures Early Learning Day Care, where I am still currently employed, seasonally. My responsibilities are overseeing children ranging from infants to 12-year-olds. These classroom sizes could be anywhere from 6-40 children. At my place of employment I am in charge of transportation to and from field trips and creating lesson plans that consist of team building exercises, experiments, and teaching leadership skills with the schoolage children. With infant to Pre-K age groups I focus on their development of social emotional skills and making sure they're meeting developmental appropriate stages in life. I look forward to using my experience and skills with your children.
