About Mika

Hello! My name is Mika and I would love to care for you and your little one(s). I am a recent college graduate looking to do what I love as I transition into the next phase of my life. I have 7 years of childcare experience ranging from new born age to middle school. I have a little sister who is 8 that I have helped raise, in conjunction with working as a tutor, babysitter, caregiver, and head counselor of a camp. I am very creative and love to tailor activities to the specific child. I can also make something out of nothing. I have a BFA in musical theatre from UC Irvine with an honors in acting which means that I absolutely LOVE to play pretend and to go on adventures that the child creates. I have great cooking skills, high levels of patience, and a creative brain. I have worked with children on the spectrum as well as differently able individuals.
