My name is Mikaela and I have a passion for working with children to be their best selves. Independent living skills, expression, and self awareness is important to ensure students can grow to carry their identities confidently at all age stages. I have worked with students through a recreation and rehabilitation after school program to ensure students with disabilities are receiving the resources they need outside of academic settings. I am currently a paraeducator working in public academia in a special education day class. I enter work with a bright demeanor to ensure the children are engaged. I can help with household chores, independent living skills, health education, and crafts.
